Mann’s Interpretation
DAVID MANN is well known to patrons of the Phil from the
Collector’s Corner gallery, where he has worked for 17 years.
Following his undergraduate studies at DePauw, Mann
pursued graduate studies in Art History at Michigan State and
received a Master's Degree from the University of Iowa.
January 29: The Theory of Light and the French Impressionists
The discoveries of Cheval, Rood and the Theory of Light will be discussed.
Examine the artists’ brushwork, use of color wheels and the new chemical pigments
that were available.
