JOE LEONARDO has directed and produced dozens of
musicals and classic and contemporary plays throughout the
country. He is a Laura Carnell Professor Emeritus of Theater
at Temple University, where he taught Elizabethan/Jacobean
literature, musical theater and directing.
Thursday, January 31: The Merry Wives of Windsor
Shakespeare’s comic force is paired with Otto Nicolai’s
operatic version and Verdi’s great comic opera,
Falstaff,
inspired by the play.
