Patients and Caregivers: Express Yourselves

This unique program is open to dementia patients and their caregivers. The series of six classes will alternate between sessions that include discussion and museum visits and classes that feature hands-on art activities. Classes will explore the collection of artwork at the Naples Museum of Art and create a forum for dialogue, which gives both the caregiver and person with dementia moments in which to connect. Each subsequent class is a reflection on the previous artwork and presents an opportunity to create artwork. This program gives those living with dementia both a forum for dialogue and an opportunity for physical expression.

March 26: Discussion/museum visit
April 2: Artistic activity
April 9: Discussion/museum visit
April 16: Artistic activity
April 23: Discussion/museum visit
April 30: Artistic activity
